    I have come here for years but more now that I live close by. The food is always great. Service is AMAZING (FAST, kind, kid-friendly). It is also super affordable. If you are looking for a super fancy restaurant, this is not the place for you. But it is an East Van classic (in fact I know tour guides that take their clients here). I come here maybe 1-3 times a week. It also has wifi.

    We ordered via foodora and it was disappointing. We ordered udon, which was bland and unfulfilling. The online menu says the aburi sushi is 3 pcs, but when it came it was just one piece. Very unclear. The tofu miso soup had 5 tiny pieces of tofu. And I mean very tiny. The soup itself was bland. Probably won't go back another time.

    Two weeks ago, I ordered takeout. 3 of 4 meals arrived cold and the other was somewhat warm. I called to ask why and if they would honor their mistake. I was told I was a liar. The manager said "youre lying. Are you Christian women? Because I dont believe you. I cooked that myself 40 minutes ago. Only once he heard my 5 year old daughter say her food was cold did he stop being rude and yelling at me.

    My daughter's enjoyed eating here several times a month. The waitresses knew us and knew our orders. This was our favourite place to eat along the drive. We've been loyal customers for many years but after such disrespectful treatment, we won't be returning.

    Go to sushi restaurant for takeout. Friendly and quick staff that always gets my order right.
    The sushi specials are also a great deal.
    Will definitely be back.
